I never thought I'd see the day where I wore earrings again (mind you if you know me personally I hardly ever wear jewelry and I haven't worn earrings since I was 16!) Not for any specific reason its just that I'm not a big jewelry wearer. But like I've said in the past when I find pieces of jewelry that I really like then I will wear certian pieces. But today I'm here to talk about one of my friends and up and coming jewelry designer Britené Williams ! She sent me these pair of earrings to me and fell inlove but at first I'm not going to lie I was hesitant to put them on because I thought to myself I havent worn any since I was 16 so I pray that my ears are still pierced so I can do her some sort of justice by wearing them so I prayed to the accessory gods that they were still pierced and they were!! Seen these guys preform on the MTV VMAs tonight and instantly fell inlove. I love when I find good great music! I feel like lately...well not even lately I'm always living vicariously through music all the time I'm always writing films or short fashion films to some of my favorite artists/bands because I love music that much but I won't gush on about it just wanted to make a quick little posty post about this band seeing that they'll be getting alot of buzz after the VMAS tonight! :)

(photos: screen captures by me) Whilst watching one of my ultimate favorite films today I was inspired by this look Audreys character wore in this scene its an variation of traditional white button down with a bib like detail often worn w/men tuxedos (I have no earthly idea what the correct term for this type of shirt) but its just the fact that the shirt is so minimal to what shes actually wearing in this scene that, that what makes it so stylish. I think that a white button down should be a staple in everyones wardrobe weither you are a man or woman young or old I think its necessary for anyones wardrobe! It seems like this summer was the summer for imaginary love lust It was so crazy it was like a dulusional summer for me but I swear I think it was the heat! The Texas summer heat! yeahhhh...lets just say that! hahaha but here are some of the artists/songs I listened to basically half/whole summer! Enjoy

Lately I've been so emotional and either has to be one or two things the one being that I'm still at a strange point of my life where I'm still struggling to find out who I am as a person or as an artist or where should I start or will I be questioned...the undying fear of putting yourself out there for the world to see is what scares me the most and also messing up...not being perfect...not choosing the right path but I know what I have to do and I need to walk through life not wondering if it will be the right path or not but I need to make mistakes in order to know how to do it right! Or the second being that 'mother nature' is right around the corner and its that time of the month hahaha (tmi?) But this video always makes me cry I remember posting it on my old blog and crying when I seen it and I did the same this time around...its so beautiful to see someone take pride and love something so much

I think its so beautiful (lol how odd of me to say because old gray hair is always associated with old age or dull) but it suits her! I liked it in Vanity Fair and also when she wore it around for a couple of weeks in candid photos that I've seen of her! but her 'Yoü and I' video was so artistically beautiful to me it captured her rawness, almost human (which she is) but the scenes where she was in the Hussein Chalayan 'dress' with pink ballet flats and w/ a pop of or yellow-orange lip I thought it was beautiful congrats to Val Garland for the makeup on the video! Sorry if I'm rambeling but gaga is such an inspiration for me creatively and visually I think shes amazing and yes I'll jump on the gaga train if thats what it means but I love her!

Like this blog is like a tumblr where I just post random pictures! I forgot to mention this in the introduction video but this blog will still have the same elements of Planee Jane just more personal except the thing is that my life right now is non existent and revolves around my job and that's no fun because I really don't get any time to hang out with friends or do anything really for the blog or creatively so I'm sorry if I'm not really living up to my ' word ' but its a process and I hope you guys will be there right along with me! and hopefully in the mean time you all will enjoy the posts I do make! :)
