I'm obsessed with Natalia Kills new video ' Saturday Night '! She always has great visuals for all of her projects and I think thats why I'm a fan...not really into her music so much but she is talented and this song is very hauntingly catchy and dark. If we were friends on myspace back in 2006-2009 then you should know who Rob Roy is! My old best friend and I used to be in love with Rob Roy back in the day and I thought about him today I don't know what made me think of him...oh I remember...this is really random but I was watching this comedy show that had Lil Duval on as one of the comedians and thought of Robs songs titled 'Duval' and if you're one of those people who loves southern rap (what am I talking about?!) If you just like great music in general then you'll love Robert Raimon Roy aka Rob Roy! here are some of his old songs that I used to listen to all the time! Enjoy! I love this video/mini-film so much Lana del Rey does an amazing job directing in all of her videos! Is it just me or does this song sound like she took some inspiration from Johnny Cash?

I'm not going to act like I know who Diana Vreeland previous this post but I knew I'd recognize some of (if not all) of her iconic work I stumbled apoun this trailer on a popular fashion blog that I frequent and decided to check it out. Not only was I stunned about how vibrant and how visual her work was she quickly became one of my icons! I looked up more of her work for Harpers Bazaar and reading a brief about her biography and I was just so amazed The Eye Must Travel—a biopic built around the stellar career of Vreeland, one of the most legendary American fashion editors who ever lived." - fashion bistro check out her site and more information here

Another one of my faves! Watch the trailer here (when isnt a movie that I post on here isn't my 'fave'? lol) Funny Games written and directed by Michael Haneke released in 2008. (Haneke also produced his first version of this film in Austria in 1997) is about Two psychopathic young men take a family hostage in their cabin. I'm on the fence about this film as an viewer and an avid film watcher this movie missed some key elements that I'd usually enjoy watching in a thriller film and all respects to the writer/director that produced this film and maybe he wanted it that way. In a sense that 'a film will not always play out where the victim wins' or the storyline will not always be the same in every single movie you watch and whether you've seen this film or not you probably could agree with me that you'd want to see a better ending! But hey that's the reason why some if not most directors and writers have alternate endings in films now just ...

If there was a visual/video for what I've been inspired by recently I think Jack Whites 'Love Inturption' music video would sum that up nicely! I think/know that Jack and I are kindred spirits...or creative soul mates he just doesn't know it yet! (yeah that doesn't sound crazy right? ha!) I LOVE JACK WHITE!

This is the reason why I love Lana! This video is spectacular!! and when I first seen it I think I knew where she got alteast one of her references from... It reminded me of Rita Hayworth in The Lady from Shanghai This is what I love about Lana because she loves vintage/retro films and thats something that I love as well The clip above is one of my absolute favorite scenes from the film you can feel the emotion Rita was playing off...I have a spot for these type of films.

Over the last couple of weeks...does it seem that I start all my posts off with "so over the last couple of blah blah"...please forgive me but when I blog now adays it seems like I blog less and less so sorry if I shove all my ideas/thoughts/finds in your brain try to look at it as a creative vent! lol but anyways It's OCTOBER! My favorite month out of the year! and not because its my birthday or anything but I feel like October is my lucky month...the weather is beautiful the leaves are just turning color it gets a little chilly and love is in the air and plus not to mention one of the biggest attractions in Texas in October is the State Fair! Call it a southern thing but I get overly excited for the state fair and this year I make it my mission to go again! Ok back on the subject I've been obsessing over new music new shapes new ideas and heres the rundown! I'm inlove with these Givenchy blazer vests Ricardo shown at his most recent show the enlongated lapel...

Congrats Beyonce on the announcement of her pregnancy! I don't think the worlds been this excited about a pregnancy for a long time!

Seen these guys preform on the MTV VMAs tonight and instantly fell inlove. I love when I find good great music! I feel like lately...well not even lately I'm always living vicariously through music all the time I'm always writing films or short fashion films to some of my favorite artists/bands because I love music that much but I won't gush on about it just wanted to make a quick little posty post about this band seeing that they'll be getting alot of buzz after the VMAS tonight! :)
