DON'T TELL ME IM UNFIXABLE

Image
I'm obsessed with Natalia Kills new video ' Saturday Night '! She always has great visuals for all of her projects and I think thats why I'm a fan...not really into her music so much but she is talented and this song is very hauntingly catchy and dark. UNUSUAL BEAUTIES: YMA SUMAC

How can you not be mesmerized by her? In these live performances it reminded me of some of some of the past/present Dolce & Gabbana collections for some reason ( Spring 2013 , Spring 2012 )

'HORS D'OEUVRE' BY MONICA MENEZ

ASVOFF 5 Award 2012 " Best Art Direction" DIRECTOR: Monica Menez CAST: Albe Hamiti / Tune Models DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY: Paul Robert Klinar STYLIST: Sanne Roesch HAIR: Sabine Nania MAKE-UP: Sabine Nania I've made it no secret that I take in and find most of my inspiration from the incredible Fashion Copious and Fashion Gone Rogue they're two of my favorite sites to visit I can only aspire to be as great as those blogs! So I tip my hat (if I had one) to them! Ok so I'm up late at night on FC and I see this mint green still (as you see above) of a woman with a blonde wig sitting on a pastel bed and I automatically assume that its going to be something good! So I'm watching and about a minute and 30 seconds in I'm baffled and confused but I kept watching to come to the realization that this film was a bit tounge-in-cheek and not to take things so literal and serious. This film is by Monica Menez her film also won the ASVOFF 5 Award 2012 for ...

KERRY WASHINGTON PRESS LOOKS

Image
( photos: Red Carpet Fashion,Glamour ) Its so hard to find Black women as style icons that are actually consistent and relievent in their work that I actually admire and thats really sad to say because there aren't a lot (in my opinion) out there or maybe I'm not looking hard enough but no one has caught my eye yet besides Kerry. Whether she styles herself or has a stylist she always finds a way to make it her own and it doesn't looked forced. If you've been following Kerry' stylish looks through out her Press junket for 'Django Unchained and also through out 2012 up to now she's been wearing a lot of asian influenced looks and I love it! here are some of her looks that admire

I love this video/mini-film so much Lana del Rey does an amazing job directing in all of her videos! Is it just me or does this song sound like she took some inspiration from Johnny Cash?

THE HITCHCOCK HOUR

Image
It seems theres a couple of Hitchcock movies coming out (not by the director of course) but surrounding his work and life (whether it be exaggerated or true) Alfred Hitchcock is one of my many favorite directors but when I seen the trailer and read the interview Tippi Hendren gave for the NY Times I had no idea that Alfred might of been just as psychotic as his films portrayed. I love in the interview that Tippis' life wasnt destroyed by him You don’t get it. He ruined my career, but he didn’t ruin my life. That time of my life was over. I still admire the man for who he was. ( NY Times Interview ) Shes a strong woman! Check out the trailer below featuring the beautiful Sienna Miller! Its nice to see her in films again! I hope she does justice playing Ms. Hendren! You can watch it on HBO Saturday, October 20th at 9PM! Hitchcock Trailer, starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson. Directed by Sacha Gervasi, Hitchcock movie opens November 23, 2012. I...

ADR preview for her collaboration with H&M. She looks amazing I cant get over it watching this I was in awe for many different reasons... Visit Rookie Mag here . Tavi was on Jimmy Fallon last night and she was amazing! I'm so proud of her success I remember when she was first starting out her blog and she was rapping about Rei Kawakubo for the collaboration for Comme des Garçons and H&M. She's so grown up now and such an inspiration for me that you can do anything you want to do in life, all you have to do is make it happen! I wish her nothing but the best and great sucess with her online magazine! I'm working on my bitch-face now! hahaha I thought I should just throw this one in! the Velvet Goldmine (film). Sorry for the shitty quality if you have Netflix you can watch it on instant!

MY TOP 10 FAVORITE FILMS

Image
The apple of my eye, the most amazing director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer Quentin Tarantino. His eye for details and the way he writes... it really amazes me and for me to say this is nothing because his cult films prove and live up to everything that he creates...I have not seen yet a bad film that he's put out yet! Or maybe thats because I'm such a die hard fan that nothing could be bad, but I highly doubt it. He serves as one of the many inspirations and heroes when it comes to my writing style/lingering work(short fashion films). (photos:google) Gilda is a 1946 American black-and-white film noir directed by Charles Vidor. It stars Glenn Ford and Rita Hayworth in her signature role as the ultimate femme fatale. The film was noted for cinematographer Rudolph Mate's lush photography, costume designer Jean Louis' wardrobe for Hayworth Not only is Rita Hayworth beautiful but when I first seen this movie maybe two years ago I never knew that it wou...
